Seeking Speakers for
4th-6th Grade Career Day

On Friday, February 21st, 4th–6th grade students at AGCS will be participating in our annual Career Day event. As a school guidance plan, a career component is a vital piece. This event will help to educate our students on a wide variety of career paths available to them on many different levels. It gets their minds starting to think about their strengths and interests at an early age.

We need some volunteers who are willing to come speak to groups of 4th–6th grade students (about 30 students per group) about their careers. You would be presenting from 8:00am-11:00am for roughly 30-minute sessions. We would like the students to hear about different careers, education/training needed, and to gain an understanding of the relevance of their academic learning to the tasks they might someday perform in the working world.

Since a Teacher will be present in the classroom, Clearances are NOT required.

If your interested and able to present, please download, complete, and return the Career Day Presenter Information and Form. Thank you!
