Night at the Races

4th Annual Night at the Races!

Friday, March 9th, 6:00-10:00pm
Redman's Hall, Oxford

$35 per person or $280 for a table of eight

Mark your calendars and get ready for a night of great fun, food, entertainment and horse racing on the big screen! This is an exciting evening for adults. Your ticket includes dinner, drinks (beer, wine, soda, water) dessert and a great night of horse racing fun!

Here's how it works
You receive a program when you arrive and you may place bets for $2.00 on any horse you choose – one race at a time. You watch the races on the big screen and you WIN CASH if your horse comes in first place!

In addition to the horse races, there will be a silent auction with lots of amazing items to bid on throughout the night. We'll also have tons of raffle baskets filled with great things!

The Night at the Races is a community event. You can help make this fundraising event a HUGE success! Last year the generosity of the parents and community members made our Night at the Races event extremely successful; we raised nearly $30,000!

  • Buy tickets to the event! Bring your family, friends, relatives and get everyone in on the fun! We are limiting ticket sales , so don't miss out on getting seats! They will sell out! Download the Night at the Races Ticket & Jockey/Horse Form and send it in with your payment today, or visit our Online Payment Webpage.  
    Ticket Pre-sales have ended, but TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR!   
  • Buy a Horse/Jockey to race at the event! There are ten total races, with 10 horses/jockeys in each race. We are selling the rights to name each of the horse/jockeys for $25.00 each. This is on a first come, first served basis since there are only 100 horses/jockeys. Once they have been named, they are gone! You can sponsor your jockey using the form or online payment above. The classroom that has the most horses sponsored will win a special classroom party with extra recess!
  • NEW!! Win an AWESOME Eagles Corn Hole Set! Wouldn't you LOVE to own these AMAZING Eagles Corn Hole boards?! Raffle tickets will be on sale through March 9th. The winner will be announced during the Night at the Races, but you DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT or attend to win. Raffle Tickets are $10 each or Six for $50.

    Raffle ticket pre-sales have ended. RAFFLE TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE EVENT!

    Please send the completed Corn Hole Raffle Ticket Order Form and payment to your child’s teacher, or visit our Online Payment Webpage. Christina O’Connor will send you a confirmation email notifying you that we received your payment and that we have added your raffle tickets into the drawing.  

  • We're looking for Silent Auction donations – NOTHING IS TOO GREAT OR TOO SMALL! If you have anything that you would like to donate or know someone who would donate something to us, please contact Maggie Johnson at mjohnson@agcharter.org or Christina O'Connor at coconnor@agcharter.org. Great items include:
    • Sports tickets – Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, college sports etc.
    • Theater tickets – do you have season tickets and can't make one performance? Consider donating them to help our school!
    • A week stay at your (or someone's who you know) beach house
    • Gift cards to local businesses or chains. We all have different connections in the community. Getting a business that you frequent or know the owner to donate to our event will help our success tremendously!
  • We're looking for businesses to buy advertising space in the race night booklet. If you own a business or know a person who owns a business and would like to advertise, please contact Christina O'Connor at coconnor@agcharter.org.
  • Volunteer on the Night at the Races Committee. There are several ways that you can help out on the committee! We need volunteers to help make calls to businesses, decorate, set up, work the tables the night of the event, and more - many hands make light work. If you are interested in helping, our first meeting is
