K-3rd Grade Field Day
Thursday, May 23rd
Nichol Park

It is that time of year again and AG Charter’s Field Day is right around the corner! On Thursday, May 23rd, we will be having our annual field day at Nichol Park right down the street from the ELC. Our RAIN DATE in case we are cancelled on the 23rd, will be Tuesday, May 28th.

On May 23rd, the students will be transported by bus to the park for a day filled with fun activities! All students must travel by bus to and from the park – no exceptions. The bus leaves the school at 9:00 am and returns around 1:45 pm. There will be eleven stations for the students to rotate to throughout the day.

Please download the K-3 Field Day Permission Slip and return it to your child's homeroom teacher.

Volunteers are needed to help run the stations. If you are available and would like to help with our day of fun, please visit our Field Day Sign Up Webpage - we would certainly appreciate your help! There are three time slot shifts to work

  • Set-Up 8:30 am-9 am
  • Morning Shift 9 am-11 am
  • Afternoon Shift 11:30 am-1:30 pm

I will explain the station to you prior to the start of field day via email and in person on the morning of our event. We will have water throughout the day and pizza at 11am for all volunteers.

All students should bring a LABELED WATER BOTTLE. There will be refill stations that they can use throughout the day. All students should also have a PACKED LUNCH IN A DISPOSABLE BAG. Students are eating at the park and should be able to throw away all items when finished. Please make sure your student comes to school with SUNSCREEN ON. We will be in the sun for most of the day. They are welcome to wear a hat/glasses and bring a labeled towel to sit on!

For a printable copy of this information , please download the K-3 Field Day Letter to Parents.

Thank you in advance and I cannot wait to have a great field day with everyone here in our AG Charter community! If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at rcooper@agcharter.org.

Sincerely,
