Interviewing at Avon Grove Charter School

Multiple Interviews

Interviewing at Avon Grove Charter School is a thorough process. It is common for our candidates to have multiple interviews with two or more individuals. Depending on the department and/or position, interviews can be accomplished in a panel style or small group setting.

Behavioral-Based Questions

In addition to asking questions about your work experiences and skills listed on your application, you will be asked several behavioral-based questions. Examples of such questions are as follows:

  • Tell me about a time when you had to exhibit multi-oriented tasks.

  • Give me a specific example of a time when you used good judgment and logic in solving a problem.

Demonstration Lesson

In addition to the above, Avon Grove Charter School requires instructional applicants to conduct a demonstration lesson to a class of pupils or a small group of teachers and administrators.
